Announcement – project leader (40% /7 months)

We are looking for a project manager for a 7-month temporary position in 2026 (40%).

Open Studios Stavanger will be held in 2026 for the fourth time. As project manager, you will have the opportunity to influence the development of the festival. We are looking for someone with strong artistic/curatorial competence who can work independently and in a structured manner, and who has excellent written and oral communication skills. This is a flexible position that can easily be combined with an artistic practice or similar. It is a prerequisite that you have some experience with project management and a strong ability to follow projects through. We encourage artists, curators and other professionals within the cultural field to apply.

Work tasks will include:

  • Project management

  • Grant writing and reporting

  • Financial management and bookkeeping

  • Planning and implementation

  • Correspondence with audiences, artists and the visitors’ programme

  • Implementation of website in collaboration with designer, including registration form

  • Marketing and social media

  • Meetings and coordination
