Ruth Bersås work mainly with oil and acrylic painting, but also graphic. The motives aren’t always decided. Bersås works intuitively and spontaneously. The figure form is between abstract and figurative – but can often end with the motive «the table». What engages her completely is, that in our culture, the table represents both generally and personally, a meeting place.
