My interest in art started with textiles, but as an artist I have chosen to work with textiles. Mostly I have expressed myself in painting, printmaking and collage. In the collages silkscreen, colored paper or painted canvas are cut up and woven or glued together. New expressions arise. I like the idea that motives and experiences put together, parts will be hidden but still remain in the picture. The collages are an inspiration for further acrylic paintings and one painting inspires a new one. In recent years, I have become more and more interested in photography. I enjoy spending time taking photos and editing.
