I graduated from Bergen Kunsthåndverkskole and live and work in Stavanger. My studio is at Tou Atelierhus. I have participated in exhibitions both in Norway and internationally. My works have been purchased by Stavanger Kunstmuseum.

My practice is in exploring textiles’ possibilities. I make location specific installations of carded wool and glue modules, and in addition 2- and 3-dimensional works of eco-printed felt and vintage wool blankets which I cut into pieces and sew back together in new patterns. Lately I have started manipulating photos of the textile modules and printing them on paper. In addition I am in the process of liberating the textiles from walls, and moving them out into the room.

I use the ‘humble’ wool fiber and recycled household textiles such as wool blankets, crocheted tablecloths and kitchen towels to preserve and highlight feminine values. I am constantly searching after textiles and shapes to convey collective memories and experiences.
