Erik Sæter Jørgensen is a Norwegian artist, writer and advisor. They are the founder of Sæter Jørgensen Contemporary, a non-profit platform supporting emerging and underrepresented artists through itinerant exhibitions and long-term collaboration.

As an artist, they primarily work with photography and video, occasionally incorporating audio and installation. Their early work emerged from long-term embedded engagement with Norwegian metal bands Purified in Blood and Kvelertak. Subsequent series have addressed contested infrastructure in Hardanger, queer subcultural life in Berlin and Paris, and post-industrial identity in Carmaux, France. In recent years, they have exhibited intimate self-portraiture and BDSM-referential imagery exploring limits, power, and control.

Sæter Jørgensen has been an artist-in-residence in Berlin, Germany (2024 and 2012); Linz, Austria (2012); and Oslo, Norway (2016), and has been included in the annual National Art Exhibition at Kunstnernes Hus in Oslo. They are a member of the Young Artists’ Society and the Association of Norwegian Visual Artists.

They are currently based in Stavanger, where they continue to build context-driven projects within and beyond Nordic networks.
