Elena Vorobyeva is married to a Norwegian and has lived in Stavanger since 2007. She was born in Moscow, grew up in Minsk in Belarus and came to Norway and Farsund in 2000. While she was living in Farsund, she was accepted at Sørlandsutstillingen three times. This led to exhibitions at Galleri Bi-Z in Kristiansand and Galleri Amare in Stavanger.

After moving to Stavanger in 2007, she spent five years studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Moscow. Her art is full of faces and the images are happy, and mother and child appear in many places. Faith, hope and love are central. In 2017, she was accepted as a member of NBK (Norwegian Visual Artists) and NBK-Rogaland.
