Anna-Victoria S Borgersrud (b. 1994) works with textiles, sculpture, printmaking, and collage. Through these forms of expression, she explores identity, memory, and expectations, often using repetition and composition as a starting point. She combines unease, discomfort, and humor, allowing them to play off each other in the expression. The work moves in a space between control and anti-control, where the lines emerge through an intuitive working process. She draws inspiration from everyday situations and reconstructs them in new visual contexts.
