Rogaland Kunstsenter
Rogaland Kunstsenter, Nytorget, Stavanger, Norge
Anita Hamremoen is a photographer and visual artist known for her poetic and dreamlike imagery using the landscape often blurring the line between memory, reality and imagination. Her work is described as poetic, introspective, and cinematic using archetypal symbols—water, trees, animals, and solitary human figures in landscape.
Anita originally trained as a graphic designer but the camera was always there. Over the years, she has studied with renowned international photographers such as Morten Krogvold, Joyce Tenneson, Deborah Turbeville, Cig Harvey and others, attending workshops and master classes. In 2020 and 2021, she completed a Master’s degree in Documentary Photography at Høgskulen i Volda.
